Estate Administration Share

Estate administration involves all aspects of decedents’ estates, whether there is a Will (probate) or no Will (intestacy).  If there is a Will, legal issues include filing the necessary papers to get the Will admitted to probate, assisting the executor with marshaling the assets, deciding which claims to pay and which to object to, proper accounting procedures and distribution and closing of the estate.  Probate proceedings can also involve objections to the probate of a Will and defending against objections to probate.  Administration of an intestate estate is similar, except that a Will is not involved.
